The Night Air is a weekly show on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation that takes a theme and chooses pieces that they admire, remixing them with their own eclectic voice. The Night Air first came to the attention of The [Un]Observed via Radiolab's Jad Abumrad who had named the Australian program as one of their favorite international shows based around a theme. With its ability to imprint their diverse, experimental style on radio pieces, The [Un]Observed has found much of its inspiration from the program and is pleased to present The Collector's Edition of The Night Air which includes a piece on the history of LSD; a visit to some sound artists in a San Francisco gallery, and a backdrop of local found sound. Works by: Tania Ketenjian; Dean Champ; Fiona Negrin; and Annalise Friend. To hear one of the pieces prior to The Night Air's mixing, please visit Shopdropping or Blow Up.
