What Is Love #2
I Like its Hows *ee cummings
In What is love? BBC producer Neil Trevithick goes on a cross-cultural expedition to see how people think, feel, and deal with romantic love. Through scientific evidence, personal interviews and anthropological studies, we go through all things related to love. Is it chemical? Is it just plain addictive? Is it cultural? Or an adaptive mechanism of our survival of our species? What love means and looks like has changed throughout time and as science advances, we are able to understand the biological explanation of love. It leaves us breathless, ecstatic, hopeless, and sometimes it seems to take control of our lives. But if there is one thing that everyone seems to agree upon, it's that at the end of the day, love is worth all of the trouble. Part two of a four part series.
